Sona Taumalolo scored a try, right during injury time, when his team was 20-27 down that was disallowed in a wrong call by international referee Chris Pollock.
Hawke's Bay played well and deserved more in a high-quality game against the best side in New Zealand (a side with 10 All Blacks, nothing less).
Something's going on in the Bay, and not even the wrong calls of referees will stop it. Zac Guilford, Israel Dagg and Thomas Waldrom, they all deserve a close look by Graham Henry.

It was a try but without the TMO we have to accept the decision of the touch judge. HB definitely deserved the try and it would have been a fitting end to a brilliant game.
Guildford has made the tour which is fantastic. Dagg and Waldrom also deserve to be considered, perhaps we will wait to see if they can continue their form through the Super 14, which is certainly a step up from ANZ Cup
Yes, who can blame a touch judge for ruling Taumalolo was out? It shows how the TMO is needed, though.
Plenty of talent in Hawke's Bay these days. Lowe for the 'canes, Waldroms brothers for the 'canes and the saders, Dagg to the Highlanders, Taumalolo to the Chiefs and Guilford wherever he wishes to play.
