We all knew that Nick Evans, Jerry Collins, Daniel Carter, Mose Tuiali'i... were all being chased by europeans clubs. Now it seems that Nacewa is the last name to an already long list of talented players who could head towards the Northern Hemisphere.
And the NZRU says they are going to fight this battle. The battle of Carter, they mean. They have even uttered words about a ight after some tunnel. Well, they NZRU should not be conservative at this point and adapt to the present time. On and on it seems that privatising the Super franchises is the only way to go to the battle, and besides, no one is really sure on what are the good things of not selecting players abroad to play with the Black jersey.
Either or you want to be professional or not. But this NZRU seems to be not wanting to make the full travel and remains somewhere in the middle of the two shores.

Why would NZ care about Nacewa?
He can never be an All Black.
Trust me, if Carter and Evans were to leave, two more soldiers would step up and make us all forget about them. I really feel that Nz just has the spirit to produce great rugby players. Like I said, what else is there to do?
Nacewa will some day play for the All Blacks. Did not Sivivatu play test rugby for the pacific islanders too?

No, Sivivatu moved to NZ with his family when he was 17 and I think that he just assimilated into the NZ community.
I am certain that the IRB is not going to allow this sort of changing countries again.
I recall two specifc cases.
John Allan had something like 11 test for Scotland and a RWC for South Africa and Patrice Noriega had tests for Argentina and then 35 or so for Australia.
If the IRB didn't crack down, it's possible players could play for 4 -6 different countries.
Nacewa has a full cap for Fiji and , I think, he is an ass not to play for them because he will NEVER play for NZ, NEVER.
